Fawn McCay Brodie, was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn MCKAY, who was brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family utilized her writing talent as well as expertise in research to write the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man knows My History, she used both. The title comes from the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his declaring: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my feelings." My history is unknown to anybody. There is no way for me to tell you. Fawn (29 years old) wrote that since her moment of candor, three-hundred writers have risen to the event. There are some who have made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient and contradictory. To assemble the documents -and separate the firsthand accounts from thirdhand plagiarism, and to then put Mormon and non Mormon accounts together into a reliable mosaic isn't an easy job. It is both interesting and fascinating. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to her work. Thaddeus Steves was a world fame due to her work in research as well as her writing. The DevilDrives. The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. An Intimate History (1974) and later posthumously Richard Nixon.
