Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (10 January 1980) is professionally known as Sarah Shahi is an American actress and former model. She was the lead character Carmen on The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS Crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). She also played the character of Det. Dani Reese is a character in Life[3] and Alias. [4] She was part of the cast of Reverie in the year 2018. She was a recurring character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic character Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. There, she was invited to make the move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she was in the supporting character role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which was part of its second season.
