Torrie Anne Wilson, born July 24 1975, is an American former professional wrestler. Her most notable achievements are in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), formerly the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. [1][8] Soon after her win, Wilson was hired by World Championship Wrestling. She continued to work for the company between 1999 and 2000. In 2001, she began being on World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television in the The Invasion (by WCW, of the then- WWF) storyline. The most well-known stories were in 2002 when she battled with Dawn Marie,[5][9] and 2003, when she feuded with Sable. Wilson has also been a part of the stable comprised entirely of females (i.e. it's a collection of characters with a storyline) that was known as Vince's Devils that ended its run in 2006.Aside from professional wrestling, Wilson has been on the covers of several magazines that include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for two times, the second time featuring Wilson and Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. The first time Wilson wrestled took place when she attended the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend , in 1999. After the show, she went backstage after the show, she was asked to enter the ring along with Scott Steiner. Seven minutes later, Kevin Nash expressed an desire to write a storyline with her. It was her first appearance on the Nitro show's February 8 1999 episode (later called "Samantha") The storyline revealed that Wilson was lured into the company of David Flair by the New World Order. The 21st of February, Wilson slapped Ric at SuperBrawl IX, David attacked the wrestler with a taser. [15] Following the time that Ric was awarded the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took the time off from WCW television in April , before returning in May to assist David to the ring for matches. Wilson was Flair's valet during 1999's Bash at the Beach. He won the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
